To become licensed in my state of Montana I had to meet rigorous education standards and work through an apprenticeship. This took me 11 years and I had the wonderful priveledge of working with several different midwives both licensed and nurse midwives, and worked in a high volume birth center in El Paso Texas.
To date I have attended over 250 births and have a midwifery practice in the Flathead Valley. I provide for homebirths and birth center births. I also love to teach natural childbirth classes and provide support for breastfeeding and natural child spacing.
The families I have served have blessed me and taught me to expand my heart and keep my arms open. The experience often leads to life long friendships between my clients and my family.
It is my goal to provide safe and effective midwifery care to mothers and babies. It is an honor to serve families in this way.
I am licensed in the state of Montana by the Board of Alternative Health Care and practice under those guidelines. I am also currently certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and CPR.
P.S. I now have 6 children 4 of which I had the priveledge of birthing at home with my last one being born in water!
Thank you for visiting,
